Thematic tours inspired by Petőfi's poems are organized by the Bács-Kiskun County Municipality and the Directorate of the Kiskunság National Park, among others, in Bugac, Izsák and Kiskőrös, the organizers told MTI.

According to the information, on the in the footsteps of Petőfi , the poet's poems are used to compare the values of the landscape of the time with the changes in the current landscape.

The Kiskunság National Park is the core area of Kiskunság, which still gives an authentic picture of the 19th-century landscape that Sándor Petőfi also wrote in his poems. The Danube-Tisza connection differs from the rest of the Great Plain in many essential features. The poet showed this difference in his poems, almost with overheated love - the announcement quotes Endré Tóth , the ecotourism referent of the Kiskunság National Park. As they write, in Kiskunság, which has been shaped into a cultural landscape, the remaining areas that are refreshing, offer experiences and hold many surprises are the salt marshes with wild water, the bumpy areas with a jagged surface or the few wetlands that show the complex naturalness of the landscape before the water management. The hiking trails include the locations of the poems, for example Kiskőrös, Bugac or Izsák.

The tour guides also prepare poems for the special trips organized on the occasion of the Petőfi commemorative year.

The Great Plain abounds not only in natural wealth, but also in cultural values - they point out in the announcement, adding that during the tours so far they have already remembered the carnation festival, the night of the lapwings, followed shepherds and outlaws, but September and October are still in store. interesting tours.

An autumn kikerics tour is organized on September 17 in Turjános in Kiskőrös, a St. Michael's Day tour on September 24 in Bugac, an autumn raid on October 8 in Kis-rét in Lakitelek and a nature tour with bird watching at the Fehér lake in Gátér on October 15.
