The mayor of New York has declared a state of emergency because they cannot handle the influx of immigrants. In the past six months, more than 17,000 migrants arrived from the southern border of the United States, mainly from Texas. The city manager said: since the beginning of September, an average of five to six buses have arrived in the city every day, and on Thursday even more, nine buses, which puts a strain on the supply system. Eric Adams also spoke about the fact that more than one billion dollars will be spent on housing, health care and other assistance for refugees this year, and this has exhausted resources, he said on the M1 News program.

Since September, the illegal immigrants who illegally entered the United States from South American countries have been arriving in the city on 5-6 buses per day in an organized manner. The arrivals are welcomed by police officers and employees of the immigration office.

The governors of the Republican-led southern states, such as Texas, Arizona and Florida, regularly send migrants who have arrived to them to the Democratic-led states.

Since April, 17,000 people have arrived in New York. The mayor of the city said that New York has reached the limits of its capacity, it cannot accommodate more migrants, because the homeless shelters have already reached the upper limit of their capacity and the hotels that the city has rented to house the migrants. The mayor declared a state of emergency.

"Our helpfulness is limitless, but our resources are not. Our reception centers are operating at full capacity, if this continues, next year we will have to take care of a hundred thousand migrants, this number is much more than our care system was created for, in short, the situation is unsustainable"

- said the democratic mayor, adding that New York needs help from the central government and the state of New York, because it cannot cope with so many illegal immigrants alone.

"They need to be taken care of, and busing seemed to be the best solution. We transport migrants to cities that claim to welcome illegal immigrants," said the Republican governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, at a campaign event, referring to not only New York, but Washington, Chicago, and Martha's Vineyard. migrants were transported to the popular resting place of the Democratic elite and even to the residence of Vice President Kamala Harris. Democratic-led cities and politicians must face the reality of the border crisis, he said.

The lenient attitude of the Democrats and the Biden government caused a real explosion on the southern borders, the Texas governor claims. According to Greg Abbott, Democratic politicians need to realize that the situation is unsustainable, as thousands are already crossing the Mexico-US border every day.

According to the Republicans, during the presidency of Joe Biden, a real wave of immigration reached the country: the US border guard registered more than two million illegal border crossings in one year. According to the current rules, the vast majority of arrivals cannot be sent back.

The leaders of the southern border states also accuse the Democratic leadership of not implementing the regulations on border protection that were created under the presidency of Donald Trump and are still in effect. The governor of Arizona therefore decided to replace the missing part of the planned border fence with the use of cargo containers, thus preventing illegal border crossings.
