Young people of three nations held a meeting in Slovenia, in the settlement Belatinc (Beltinci) of the Diocese of Muraszombati, in the Church of St. László. On October 7, Slovenian young people invited Croatian and Hungarian young people to sing together, catechesis, prayer and adoration. The program ended with a discussion and dinner.

The St. László Church of Belatinc in Muravidék is full of young people. The city of 2,500 enthusiasts is located near the Hungarian-Slovenian border. Before Trianon, only scattered Hungarians live in and around the settlement that belonged to Hungary.

It is a tradition for the three neighboring nations to meet each other in the church whose patron saint is King Szent László. This year, for the first time, young Hungarians also participated in the youth program, which was held on the eve of the big meeting.

"As good neighbors and friends, let's pray together, sing and get to know each other," the organizers invited to the meeting. A large choir arrived from the city of Varaždin (Varasd). The students of the seminary in Zagreb also came; their escort, youth pastor Marko Domiter, said that the meetings organized with Slovenian youth are regular. On behalf of the hosts, Aljazs Basa, Father Marko's seminary partner, greeted the participants. The Slovenian youth of Belatinc and the surrounding settlements arrived with several priests. One of them, Simon Štihec, parish priest from Dobrovnik, who also brought young Hungarians living here. Several priests from the seminary in Ljubljana also participated in the meeting.

Several groups of guests also arrived from Hungary. Led by Krisztián Ora, chaplain of the Parish of Our Lady of Szentgotthárd, and deacon Balázs Vigh, a busload of students arrived from Szent Gotthárd Primary School and High School, the religious community of Szentgotthárd Parish. Led by prefect Richard Végerbauer, the students of the Győr seminary also came to the meeting.
