Twenty-one left-wing representatives joined the parliamentary group that serves to protect the interests of LGBTQ communities. According to the Protected Society Foundation, the opposition's inter-factional LGBTQ group is a pure political import product, which deepens the trenches between social groups even more, reports Magyar Nemzet .
A parliamentary representative group was formed by left-wing parties on the grounds that they want to represent the interests of LGBTQ communities. The newly formed group was joined by twenty-one representatives of five left-wing parties, DK, MSZP, LMP, Momentum and Párbeszéd, who plan close cooperation with several actors in the "civil" sphere. At the announcement timed for the world day of coming out, Dávid Bedő (Momentum) stated that human rights and freedoms are in danger in Hungary today, which must be acted upon.
In his opinion, this also justifies the formation of Hungary's first inter-factional group, for a Diverse Hungary - Opposition parties for the interests of LGBTQ people, which aims to ensure that LGBTQ communities are not discriminated against and can live freely in Hungary.
We want to amplify the voices of the people represented in the group and bring their cases to parliament
- said the deputy faction leader of Momentum.
the LGBTQ representative group , Fidesz stated: the dollarist left hand in hand showed today that it would slavishly fulfill the ideological orders of its foreign sponsors and Brussels in all areas. According to the announcement of the major government party, the Gyurcsánys not only want to settle migrants in Hungary, they not only want to cut off oil and gas from the Hungarian population, but they would also sacrifice children, and they want to continue unleashing LGBTQ propaganda on kindergartens and schools.
In connection with what happened, Andrea Földi Kovács, on behalf of the Protected Society Foundation, stated to the Magyar Nemzet that the inter-factional LGBTQ group of the left is a pure political import product. A member of the foundation's board of trustees pointed out that today in Hungary there are no provable research results showing that sexual minorities suffer more atrocities and even rights violations than anyone else. In his opinion, such highlighting of sexual minorities deepens the trenches between social groups and directs attention to a problem that clearly and exclusively serves political purposes, as opposed to the results of science and the protection of life.
