In CBS's "The Talk" program last week, movie star Mark Wahlberg said that he moved to California's neighboring state, Nevada, to provide his children with "a better life", reports 888.hu.
"I moved to California many years ago to act, and I made a few movies while I was there." Wahlberg said. He said that his goal is that his children - two boys and two girls - can realize their dreams.
Residents across the state have been fleeing Gavin Newsom's rule in California in droves, especially since 2020, when the Democratic-led and mostly liberal legislature shut down the state in response to COVID. High taxes, which threaten even the middle class, the skyrocketing crime rate and the unaffordable housing crisis simultaneously made life there difficult.
The Los Angeles Times cited a report by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago that said California had an out-migration rate of about 56% in 2018-2019. After the pandemic, this proportion rose to nearly 60% in 2020-21.
The Times also reported that between April 2020 and January 2022, more than 352,000 residents packed up and set up camp elsewhere, according to statistics from the California Department of Finance.
2022plus: People don't really believe in such news, because America is the land of promise, where everything is very beautiful, everything is very good and everyone is satisfied with everything (freely after József Ferenc). I would doubt it myself, since I can't verify it, the person who came from far away can say anything, right? I doubt it, but I have no reason to. These news are being denied by the press of the now reigning American government (???). Great things are happening under the Democrats (they think), see BLM movement, LGBTQ rights and other very progressive mental illnesses. So on what basis do I not believe them?
First of all: the major American news falsifying companies (The New York Times, CNN and others) fail daily with their fake news, their especially dilettantish writings and interviews that testify to a lack of knowledge, but are undoubtedly imbued with malice. I'm not talking about simple accusations, it's enough if we think of the very objective, granite-hard correct CNN broadcasts with Péter Szijjártó Anyone who has seen either one knows what to expect.
In the "land of democracy" they practice the dictatorship of opinion without batting an eye, banning from social media anyone who dares to represent something different from the so-called mainstream opinions, be it a plumber from Detroit or the reigning American president. The liberal-Nazi basic position of universities is now almost natural (respect for the rare exception), in the name of freedom of opinion, all conservative ideas are banished from their campuses, and of course they specifically persecute those who dare to voice such opinions.
Second: Said mainstream something (allegedly the press) makes people look as stupid as can be. However, nowadays everything is filmed, it is impossible to lie what we see on the recordings, but there is no obstacle for them, they lie. If their brain-socked president shakes hands with invisible people, that's not a sign of dementia, oh no! He just wanted to make the press laugh. If you don't recognize your granddaughter, if you think that the lady is actually your son, that's not a sign of mental degradation, but a declaration of faith for LGBTQ people. If you think your vice president is the president, that's not a sign of total confusion, it's a courtesy to the lady. If he reads out the "technical script" prepared for him (you go in, wave, take your seat), he does it not because he has that much brain capacity, but so that everyone can see how thoroughly he prepares for each event. And if you fall asleep in the process, it's not sleep, but concentration with your eyes closed.
And now we've reached those fleeing California: it's not an escape, it's happening because, despite the best intentions of the Democratic leadership, it's hot that some people can't stand.
Finally, for the third time: I have an American brother-in-law. Not in California, true, but often not in the USA either. He also flees - although not permanently, only from time to time, when he is tired of the "American dream" at home. They won't guess where - yes, to Hungary. He comes here to recharge, relax, and feel good here. I know (also) from him that all "fake news" is true. Of course, it's also true that democratically controlled member states and territories are becoming more and more unlivable, so I have to believe that Wahlberg fled his family from California.
Watch out, Uncle Reality is coming! Of course, he also has to be careful not to be shot by someone very democratically.
