Tamás Menczer, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Fidesz parliamentarian of the region, spoke about the strengthening of the family support system on Tuesday at the opening ceremony of a new nursery school in Páty.

The politician emphasized: in times of crisis, it is important for the government to strengthen its strategic goals.

"The government will not take anything away from the family support system, in fact, it will expand the support if possible," said Tamás Menczer.

The representative spoke about the fact that the fertility rate expressing the desire to have children in Hungary increased by 24 percent in 10 years, this value is the highest in Europe. In Hungarian terms, it rose to a 27-year high, reaching a ratio of 1.59, added the Fidesz representative.

A new three-group nursery school, capable of educating forty children, was inaugurated on Tuesday in the Pest County settlement, and the local government received HUF 120 million in state support for the HUF 300 million investment.

At the inauguration, Miklós Soltész, the State Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office responsible for church and ethnic relations, said that in the last 10-12 years, the number of kindergarten places has increased by more than 80 percent, by more than 22,000, and the government spent 230 billion HUF on this throughout the country. Miklós Soltész also touched on the following: Since 1990, the population of Pátyon has increased from four thousand to eight thousand, and it was a great challenge for the management of the settlement to create an infrastructure that meets the growing needs.

Mayor László Székely (Fidesz-KDNP) reminded that in order to realize the new institution, the building of the previously privately operated Kikelet nursery school was purchased and remodeled with state aid. With the transfer of the Rozmaring member institution of the Dédelgető Nursery School, the number of nursery places in the municipality increased to 70, the mayor said.
