The Polish Embassy in Budapest and the Polish Institute respectfully and lovingly invite you to the well-known Polish singer Paweł Piekarczyk "II. World War Rhapsody", which will take place on November 30, 2022 (Wednesday) at 18:00 at the Polish Institute.

In Poland, this year is the year of commemoration of three outstanding Polish commanders, Generals Stanisław Maczek, Stanisław Sosabowski and Władysław Anders, who were born 130 years ago, and who won decisive victories in World War II. during World War II. Famous and important events such as the taking of Monte Cassino, the Market Garden operation or the liberation of Belgium and the Netherlands are linked to their names.

We would like to pay tribute to the three brilliant Polish generals with a special concert. The well-known Polish singer, Paweł Piekarczyk, is the "II. commemorating Polish heroes with his musical evening entitled "World War Rhapsody". His poignant presentation describes the heroism and martyrdom of the Polish nation, as well as World War II. shows the losses suffered as a result of the Second World War.

The composer and lyricist of the works is Leszek Czajkowski.
