"No Christmas without Corvin!" - said the socialist advertising slogan, so that in the 2000s the vernacular changed the name of the well-known department store to Kevin, referring to the hero of the holiday comedy shown regularly on TV. "No Christmas with Christmas" - this could be the latest version. The question is, do we feel like laughing at all - we can read in the publicity published on the website of the Hungarian Christian Democratic Union.

"At this time last year, we wrote about the destruction of Christmas in Western Europe, but we never dreamed that the Christophobia epidemic spread by the extreme left would rear its head in our country this year under the pretext of the energy crisis.

The Metropolitan Municipality is said to be saving 28 million forints by depriving the people of Budapest of the festive lighting (in fact, we are also supposedly saving on carbon dioxide, but who dare not mention that these days).

No matter how you count, the members of the mayor's advisory board, known in the vernacular as 41 robbers, would have to give up their fabulous remuneration for exactly one month, and everything would shine as usual in the Advent city center.

Of course, we should have no illusions. Why would the left-liberal society, which is at war with Christianity ab ovo, miss the opportunity given by energy prices?

Of course, the mayor relied on the will of the people: he organized a poll on the issue on his Facebook page, with a 96% result reminiscent of North Korea. Taking into account that Gergely Karácsony is a public opinion pollster, hats off to the professional cynicism that made it possible for the uninitiated news consumer to believe the circle of friends who vote in the heat of conscience as a representative majority in the capital.

It is no coincidence that the forces that want to push the world into darkness are afraid of even this little, and they turn off the light just in time."
