The Ukrainians suspect a woman of Hungarian origin who infiltrated the foreign legion helping their fight with theft worth one billion forints. According to the news, the woman, who could be a character in a modern-day Hide and Seek novel, has been traveling the world with a multitude of tricks for years on a smaller scale. It is a mystery how he got to one of the leading positions in the Ukrainian Foreign Legion, but it is certain that his story is worth an article: here is the adventurous life of F. Emese!

"Books are my guilty passion," says F. Emese, perhaps the best-known girl of Hungarian origin at the moment, on her profile

Remember, many people made news about the 30-year-old Australian woman of Hungarian origin who is accused of stealing millions of dollars worth of medical equipment from a warehouse in Kyiv in October. The booty came from foreign donations and mainly contained medicines and medical devices, which were otherwise intended for the front. A lot of money also disappeared.

The whole thing was worth about 2.5 million dollars (almost one billion forints),

and according to the suspicion, the woman embezzled the whole thing, but the authorities are even afraid that she might have passed the equipment on to the Russians.

When they began to investigate, parts of the missing shipment suddenly began to appear...

By the way, the woman's prehistory was already in the world press in the summer, when she was appointed to a leading position in the foreign legion, and they looked a little more closely at who her son or daughter was.

Well, according to compilation

despite her young age, she has a very adventurous life behind her.

Originally, according to his confession, he was born in Cluj in Transylvania, attended the local Babes-Bolyai University and Sapientia; then he was a university student in London. He then tried his luck in New York, his profession is said to be a cyber security expert, his English company called Anakin Consultancy offered .

According to her previously used Facebook profile, which is still partly public today, she became a vegetarian in 2013, the LGBTQ rainbow cat profile (the animal is probably her own cat named Rascal), an average Western or Western girl, no excitement.

Cyber expert, deep-sea diver, shepherd herding wild animals

In his public biography at TedX in 2017

he claimed to have Apple and the United Nations among his clients;

his business operated in London between 2016 and 2019, when the government canceled his registration.

F. Emese, who describes himself as a "thrill seeker and adrenaline junkie", who "sometimes moves his office to a war zone", then moved to Australia, where he established his international reputation.

Moreover, by the fact that in November 2020 he acquired a house renovated in the 1950s at an auction in a TV show, with a lot of media attention,

however, the two defrauded owners never saw the 4.2 million dollars to be paid for it,

F. Emese tried to prove with forged bank documents that he had transferred the amount in question, the owners later reported what happened in tears. The impostor told the reporter who sought him out that he himself did not know what could have happened, but he was looking into it.

In other respects, he insisted that he transferred the amount corresponding to about 1.6 billion Hungarian forints. He claimed that he did not receive the necessary bank forms, that is, there was an administrative problem.

After what happened

the woman fled to the Portuguese island of Madeira, where she started a new life under the name Abigél Fuchs,

and allegedly tried to play the same false reference game in the island's capital, Funchal, only here in connection with a rental property.

While in town, he managed to pick up a cryptocurrency trader named Steve Silva on Tinder, to whom he also told his story about Apple and the UN. When she claimed that she could not meet the man due to her landlord's positive Covid test, Steve Silva wanted to visit the woman at her apartment, where he was greeted by the unknown name "Emese", until a quick internet search revealed F. Emese's past in Australia.

He also found out - now from the owner who rented out the apartment to his girlfriend -

that he played the same game with her in a small way, with an alleged transfer of about $4,200.

It soon turned out that the two cases were actually just the two ends of the scale: a former British friend of the woman showed a payment receipt for 50,000 pounds (at the time it was worth 20 million forints), the value of which was never received from the relevant bank account. He also shortchanged a Hungarian graphic designer by $1,000.

In each case, the woman claimed that some administrative problem was slowing down the transfer.

After the woman started to blurt out, policeman Steve Silva, who had been to Porir, called the apartment to at least return his possessions - a valuable GoPro camera and a diving watch (F. Emese, among other things, killed his time by deep-sea diving off the coast of the beautiful island) - can get it.

However, she was absorbed

– and reappeared in Ukraine in April 2022.

On his way to becoming a national hero

Emese also liked to appear in the advertising photos of the Ukrainian International Defense Legion, the thin, blonde girl was an excellent advertising face for the units recruiting foreigners for the defense of Ukraine. It is known that several countries, including Australia, prohibit their citizens from entering, but Ukraine offered citizenship and income to foreign fighters.

They later stopped recruiting - as the Daily Mail notes, the Kiev command had had enough of foreigners with no experience on the battlefield, and the foreigners were fed up with the fact that they were being used as cannon fodder, so they imposed stricter requirements,

on the basis of which the lady arrested on April 8 would not even have been admitted to the unit a few days later.

But he was lucky; F. Emese first worked as a translator under the pseudonym Fecsegő Poszáta, familiar from The Hunger Games, and then, on July 1, he boldly stepped into the world: he was appointed communications director, and for a not bad salary, 10,000 euros per month (roughly HUF 4 million). At his press conference on July 1st, in the company of three other foreign fighters, he talked about the state of the legion in Kharkiv, when they noticed him and investigated him again.

By the way, F. Emese served in the legion under his own name (admittedly, with a Lisbon address), although he often called himself Abigél as well. And as they told the Daily Mail, he told the same story about his clients Apple and the United Nations, his huge penthouse apartment, and his luxury cars.

In any case, the woman didn't like the mercenary life that much, a fellow volunteer told the newspaper that after three and a half months she didn't like wearing the uniform anymore, she reported to the newspaper in July.

And then they only feared the good reputation of the legion from the woman with a checkered past,

so, I don't know why, but they left him in his chair.

And he, according to the suspicion, did not hesitate to reach out for the money that was finally within arm's reach.
