The ecumenical week of prayer lasts from January 15 to 22. The material for the week of prayer was compiled by the Minnesota Council of Churches; its central verb reads: "Learn to do good, pursue righteousness." (Isaiah 1:17)

The national opening service will begin on Sunday, January 15 at 6 p.m. in the Kálvin Square Reformed Church in Budapest.

Cardinal Péter Erdő, Primate, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest delivers a homily and Tamás Fabiny, President-Bishop of the Evangelical Church of Hungary, preaches. The leaders of the member churches of the MEÖT (Ecumenical Council of Hungarian Churches) serve in the liturgy.

The prayer book can be found on the MEÖT website or can be downloaded in pdf format HERE .
