“If a man is fit to be drafted, he must be ready to serve,” said Reznikov. Karpáthír reports that Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznyikov said that the distribution of conscripts on the streets is necessary because the Ukrainian army must make up for losses on the front.

It is written that in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda, the minister emphasized:

the military commissars are forced to summon men of conscription age on the street, because many of them do not live in the place of their registration, and despite the summons, they did not appear at the local recruiting centers.

"If a man of conscription age is seen alive and healthy, he is summoned and obliged to appear. This does not mean that it will be mobilized tomorrow. You have to appear, you have to present your documents. Maybe it will turn out that: "Yes, I am of conscription age, but I have an exemption, or I have 4 children. "Okay, show up and show your documents, that's all," Reznykov said.

The minister emphasized that most of the volunteers applied in February-March 2022, but "others must also understand that the mobilization is currently taking place, and if a man is fit to enlist, he must be ready to serve."
