The series of events entitled 1000 years of friendship - Polish, Hungarian heritage walks, which covers eight major cities in Hungary, is being realized with the cooperation of several associations that preserve traditions.

On the occasion of the program supported by the Ministry of Human Resources, traditionalists walk the streets, squares and parks of the settlement in Polish and Hungarian military uniforms evoking various historical eras. The traditionalists are accompanied by musicians who perform contemporary Polish and Hungarian songs and sheet music on their instruments.

The 1,000-year friendship between the Polish and Hungarian peoples is legendary. The tradition-preserving walks program series reminds us of this, celebrates this, is a kind of tribute to the old heroes of the two countries and their common, great battles, but also indicates the strength of the cooperation that continues to this day . During the walks, the past literally comes alive, from which our present and future are nourished. Hungary and Poland were founded almost at the same time. The Árpáds and the Piasts often made alliances, Kálmán Könyves and III. And Boleslav accepted eternal brotherhood and friendship.

The first two locations of the traditional walks will be Vác on July 31, and downtown Budapest on August 1. The organizers welcome everyone to take photos together, talk, and listen to music.
