What responsibility does America have for the escalation of the Ukrainian-Russian relationship into a war situation? Can the Russian supremacy be countered with Western help and can Ukraine win the war? He asked Dániel Bartha, a foreign and security policy expert and the president of the Foundation for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Democracy, on Mandiner's Mandiner Stratéga broadcast.

If Russia believes that its territorial gains are sufficient and is therefore ready to end the conflict, this will not lead to a ceasefire, because Ukraine will say no to the loss of territory, and the West will then face a real dilemma: how long can Ukraine be supported with weapons?

" The West cannot help but not support Ukraine, in light of the fact that Russia is not a credible international actor, it has violated all international agreements, it wants to destroy Ukraine according to its own ambitions," said the Stratéga guest, who believes that the West's own security interests because of this, he cannot allow a cease-fire agreement to be established on the condition that the West does not support Ukraine in the future. This war will define the coming decades in some form, the security policy expert believes, and he believes that the West cannot transfer such an amount of combat capabilities to Ukraine that would reverse this war.
