Bors writes that 18-year-old Martin, who was stabbed on Deák Square in the early hours of Sunday, has died. The tragic news was announced by his mother. The accused and his family did not apologize, the newspaper reports.

According to the newspaper's report, the young man went out to have fun with his group of four last Saturday night. Two hours after midnight, they were on their way home when they got into an argument with another group.

The argument was finally ended by Zsolt K., also 18, who stabbed Martin in the head with a knife.

The newspaper reported that the victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was kept on a ventilator for two days, after which his condition improved so much that he was able to breathe on his own.

However, at noon on Friday, Martin's mother announced her son's death.

Civilians Info:

My sincere condolences to the victim's family, losing a young man is an eternal grief for the parents. Especially if it's completely pointless, an aggressive killer kills for fun. Call for a police state, but I would create the legal framework for anyone deemed by the police to be suspicious or aggressive, especially at night, or for any reason, to be checked on the spot to see if they have a knife, razor, or other means capable of taking life . A person with a good sense of humor doesn't take this with him even when he goes to a party. The stage gun goes off, the knife goes off for no reason. Of course, I know that murderous aggression can hit its target without a knife, but still! It should not be legal for someone to have a knife, stabbing or shooting weapon. The consumption of addictive drugs, brutal games on the Internet, and the complete loss of control can cost young lives. Greater strictness, stronger action from the police. The legislature and the government must help with this.

Zero tolerance towards individuals and gangs carrying knives and other murders! It should be a crime to find such a device in anyone's possession. More police at night, in the party districts, no-go zones and bad places.

Now several lives have been ruined: the victim's, his family's, the killer's and his family's, even though the latter have not even apologized so far. Not to mention the public's sense of security.

Education and Christian upbringing are also important, but so is control and accountability!

Rest in peace Martin!
