Are there any of you bigots who can tell stories well and can always make your friends and colleagues laugh? Are there untold stories lurking in your desk drawer, hidden in a virtual folder or saved in the cloud? Are there any faces among you who would like to stand up and make the diaphragm muscles of the LGBTQ+ community work a little? Perhaps you would have liked to stand up in front of an audience, but there was no suitable space for it? Or just that you come up with a joke every week that hits with an impromptu audience? Do you also know better LGBTQ+ jokes than the ones currently circulating in the media? We are happy to create a space for your unique humor and talent to find understanding and interested ears, wrote the Labrisz Lesbian Association on its social media page.

According to the call, application materials are expected from people who can tell jokes in an LGBTQ+ friendly way. The first introductory stand-up evening will be held on June 23 as part of the Labrisz evening, where the best ten contestants will be able to stand in front of the audience, and then the best three will have the opportunity to perform in front of an even larger audience.

As we have already reported, Labrisz has been particularly active in the past period, because it is not enough to sensitize teachers, they have also launched programs aimed at sexual education for parents.

In another of their projects, events called Befogadó terek, aimed at schools and workplaces, are also announced in rural areas, which are implemented in external locations after they have been forced out of schools due to the Child Protection Act.
