In New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, several works with the word "Russian" in their titles have been renamed. An Armenian portal and Moscow also protested against the senseless action.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York has begun renaming several of the works of art it exhibits that contain the term "Russian" in their titles. The idea came from the head of the Ukrainian researcher of the University of New Jersey, art historian Oksana Szemenyik, who told the American CNN news channel:

"I realized that many Ukrainian artists are listed as Russian in various collections."

During the campaign, among the pictures exhibited in the museum, the French impressionist Edgar Degas' Russian dancer was replaced with Dancer in Ukrainian clothes. And the Russian painter Ilya Yefimovich Repin was categorized as Ukrainian because he was born in the territory of today's Ukraine in 1844, when there was no independent Ukraine.

The overzealous museum decision-makers were forced to retaliate in one case: the Armenian-American portal, Asbarez, raised its voice due to the change of origin of Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky, a Russian painter of Armenian nationality. Russian presidential commissioner Mikhail Svidkoi did the same, according to him

the action is not artistically or culturally motivated, but clearly political in nature.

The director of the world-famous museum, Max Hollein, spoke about the case, according to whom the institution's curators and experts constantly examine the pieces of the collection in order to be able to catalog the artefacts as accurately as possible.

sanctions were imposed on Russian culture and its representatives based on current political trends .

Civilians. Info:

Well, they used to say that the person doing nothing wants to give the appearance of being feverishly active. The result is such and such absurdity. In addition, the horse's leg is sticking out, because these Tunya desires to assert themselves know very well that if they ride the political winds, there is no one to contradict the stupidity, because nowadays, due to the vocal minority, people do not say what they think, but what they expect from the brain dead howlers. What Russian culture has to do with the current war, even those who come up with such nonsense cannot explain. In addition, there is no consistency in their theory, since, while we're at it, Wagner's works should also be put in the sink, because he was Hitler's favorite, but one could also list many more German poets and writers. But I could also initiate that the name of Ford cars should be changed, because it is well known that Henry Ford was anti-Semitic.

Are we still ranking? Why, since the mind-blowing blind ideas would never end and it seems there won't be for a while.
