Fifteen thousand doctors have not joined the Hungarian Medical Chamber - it is clear from the organization's own data. State Secretary of Health Péter Takács drew attention to the fact that the medical chamber demoted many people even though they had specifically protested against it.

The government had no intention of abolishing the Hungarian Medical Chamber (MOK), therefore it considers it indifferent that the majority of doctors voluntarily returned to the chamber, Péter Takács told Atv.hu. The state secretary of health was asked after the meeting of the People's Welfare Committee whether the fact that 15,000 people did not return to the MOK was evaluated as a success or a failure.

– I know many colleagues who, although they do not agree with the goals and methods of the current presidency, have been chamber members for thirty years and have returned to the medical chamber. Actually, I don't attach any importance to this, he declared.

Péter Takács also reported that he received many indignant e-mails that the doctors did not agree with the current presidency of the chamber.

There was someone who disagreed with the current presidency so much that he was not satisfied with a passive non-entry, but sent him away, he does not want to enter. And you received a thank you email to confirm your membership

- he recalled a strange incident.
