On June 28, 2022, the police officers on duty arrested a total of 464 border violators and prevented 122 people from illegally entering the territory of our country between 0:00 and 24:00, reports police.hu.

In the Bács-Kiskun county border section, the police arrested a total of 99 border violators in 18 cases, and in Csongrád-Csanád county, the patrols arrested a total of 279 border violators in 30 cases.

Actions were taken against a total of 46 border violators in Pest county, 4 in Sopronkövesden, 9 in Tolnán, and 27 in the administrative area of ​​Peresznye.

During the inspection, the detained illegal migrants claimed to be citizens of Afghanistan, India, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, Turkey, and Tunisia, but they could not credibly prove their identity or the legality of their stay in Hungary. The police escorted them back to the temporary border security checkpoint in accordance with the current Hungarian legislation.

In the last 24 hours, the police prevented a total of 122 people from illegally entering the territory of our country in 11 cases.

In Hungary, in the last 24 hours, criminal proceedings were initiated against 8 people for human smuggling and 1 for forgery of public documents.
