On Wednesday, a football team from Székely achieved extraordinary success! They won the Romanian Cup for the second time in a row and were able to take it home again to Sepsiszentgyörgy. The Romanian ultras from Cluj-Napoca did everything they could to confuse the players from Szent-Györgyi, they threw firecrackers onto the pitch, you could hardly see them, they made so much smoke. Thank God the m4 channel also broadcast the match and we could see that not only the Cluj fans, who often chanted anti-Hungarian, racist rhymes, but also the referee and the VAR were blowing against the Szeklers.

Among other things, they didn't give a one-time goal, the referee didn't even go out to check the VAR and the same thing happened in a suspicious penalty situation. A viewer also said: this is Romania!

So everyone could see it, there was the goal. The match ended 0:0 in regular time and overtime, the team from Saint-Georges won 5-4 with 11 points. Now you don't need to be a great expert: this ball is completely over the goal line!/Source: Sepsi OSK official website.

I quote from another fan's comment:

Sepsi was a huge success!!!

He did all this in a context in which, apart from them, except for us (the fans), everyone's main task was to make sure that the Romanian Cup could not go to the showcase of the Szentgyörgyi stadium!! I say NO WAY!!!!

The sly ones didn't count on the fact that Diószegi won't sell our dream, he says no to the offer, his gladiators will fight the fight, they will show their compatriots how it can be, maybe it just needs a backbone, a will!!!

I am proud of the whole team, including the professional staff, you did not betray an entire nation for a kilo!!!

Go Sepsi, go Székelys, long live the Nation!!!! ( Full comment here - ed.)

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán did not leave the extraordinary victory against Universitatea Cluj unmentioned. He congratulated the president of the team, who with hard work in 10 years created this team from nothing, more precisely from his own faith and dream, which also finished in the top house in this year's championship.

In addition, master baker Diószeg is famous throughout Transylvania (we have already written about him here , here and here) for his bakery and pityokás (potato) bread. My bakery employs at least 200 people in Székelyföld. He is a person who is able to organize, lead and lead authentic communities to success.

He and his fanbase did not insult or complain, they just cheered and trusted in victory. It wasn't a pretty game, but it was a noble fight. The boys showed that the bear is not a toy!

Come on György Sepsiszent! And as father Bem said: Forward Szeklers!
