Father Csaba Böjte, head of the Saint Francis Foundation in Déva, was also hit by the wave of hatred that attacks Catholics and the Catholic Church from time to time, after the educator who, according to the accusation, sexually abused several children in the foundation's children's homes was sentenced to thirty years in prison.

Brother Csaba said that he did not know about the cases, he had no idea that such a thing could happen in their institutions, but after he found out, he immediately contacted the authorities.

He also reacted to the current emotions, he wrote that "the verdict was in, the court convicted the lone criminal, we cooperated with the authorities the whole time, and neither I nor any of our colleagues were charged! As far as I know, the poor children didn't accuse anyone but Szabolcs! Our job is not to judge, but to pray!"

"Unfortunately, this was not enough for the politically charged press. They are not aware that we are all not accomplices, but victims of our colleague who committed the crime!

This person hurt our children and thereby also hurt us, who took on the work of Hungarian child protection in Transylvania!

In relation to the often malicious attacks, Jesus' supplication is the compass: "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing!"

However, father Böjte was not alone, several of his daughters spoke Fruzsina Skrabski's video. Domokos Liedia joined the foundation in 2006, at the age of ten. According to him, he could have gone home a few years later, but in the children's home he received everything that his own parents could not have provided for him. He believes that at the foundation he got a level of education that only wealthier families can afford their children.

Regarding the accusations against the foundation, Renáta Mihaletzky As he said, it is inevitable that one falls into such a trap, especially if it is driven primarily by good intentions. After that, several former foster children appeared on social media, thanking Csaba Böjte for the love they received from him and assuring the father that he was by his side they stand

“He was there for me and my siblings when our dad wasn't around. You took care of us, taught me to read and write, together with the teachers, and last but not least, to live! (…) He gave us love, as much love as my parents could not give. For that, thank you very much and I am grateful for it! I stand by you, Csaba Böjte, just as you stood by me in difficult times," wrote Roxana Gorgan , one of his former children.

Attila Mircse also thanked him for being able to grow up with Csaba Böjte, who, as he said, was "our father instead of our father".

"We are all equal before God. No matter what we do, people will always talk about us, unfortunately mostly negative things. It is easier to deal with other people's problems, because during this time we suppress our own troubles. I trust that brother Csaba will not back down from ill-wishers. I am proud to have been raised there," he wrote.

Zsolt Zaiti also grew up in the children's home of the Szent Ferenc Foundation in Déva, whose father committed suicide in 2008, and he felt that he had to stand by "such a respectable person" who "dare to decide for life".

"Everything was given to me here, which would be a requirement for a child growing up in a family that is supported by the parents. I grew up, studied and developed myself next to brother Csaba. He is our real hero and our Dad! I am proud to say that I am one of the noble sons of his great family," he shared.

He added that "Father Csaba Böjte is the best servant of God, who is an ambassador of love. He invested all the toil and unsparing work in order for us to develop and not to be adrift in the storms of life, but to move forward and fly with outstretched wings over the higher and higher mountains."
