The Christmas residents' meeting decided that motorists will not be able to drive up to the Chain Bridge in the future. About fifty to a hundred members of the LMP (many of them can hardly be anymore) applaud, and the motorists...but it is not appropriate to describe this.

I love receiving Christmas presents, but somehow I haven't been able to enjoy a single Christmas present yet. He failed to win my heart with the haphazardly painted yellowed bicycle paths, which would be fine, but should have been left to those who know how to design them.

I didn't applaud the dismantling of nearly 3,000 street waste collectors either, because only the blind and "Genius" Gergely Karácsony did not foresee that if there were fewer garbage collectors, there would be more garbage - on the sidewalks. They installed them so often (it's true, those who did it even thought about it) because they knew that most people - unfortunately - don't take their trash with them more than ten meters away. Many people throw it not even a meter away, where they are standing.

I cursed when - allegedly for economic reasons - the Main Garden was practically abolished, the great result achieved is that the green areas that had been kept in order are now vegetating like weeds, instead of flowers they are covered with weeds, but what does it matter? It is enough to call the untended areas bee pastures and everything is fine. Of course, beekeepers were not asked about this "environmentally friendly" step, because they could have revealed that bees are not herbivores, so there is no need to graze, and the probability of collecting nectar from weeds is a thousand times smaller than zero. However, if they were to do it, I would like Gergely Karácsony and his colleagues to consume the honey "grown" in the city with increasingly polluted air every day with good health.

And why is the capital's air quality deteriorating? Because as a result of the above-described blessed actions of the great environmentalist mayor, never-before-seen traffic jams are forming, and those vehicles, which would only produce a tolerated part of the air pollution while moving continuously, are slouching in the congestion. Of course, this doesn't bother Karigeri, the only thing that matters to him is the flying of the rainbow flag, he doesn't care about Budapest in the slightest.

But if you have already begun to destroy the capital, do not stop, continue with great diligence! Given that, by the grace of God, I no longer live in Budapest (if I lived there, I might not), I can give you some ideas. What's in it for me?

Close all Danube bridges and make them openable! Then open it and don't let it down, for at least half an hour a day! People will get rid of the disgusting behavior of driving from Buda to Pest or from Pest to Buda to pollute there.

Renovate (or at least pretend to renovate) all the highways, but no more cars! Then the next "resident assembly" will vote on this as well. But it may not be, the final result can be declared pro-closure even if it would produce the opposite result. Who could check who voted for what?

It is important that the voting age be lowered to 3 years! After all, we are talking about the future of the little ones, on what basis could they exclude the bázis and ovis from among the opinion makers?

Cut canals in place of city roads and flood them with Danube water! Little Venice, that's the real thing! In any case, there is no more environmentally friendly means of transport than rowing boats. Of course, it is a small problem that many, many trees will be needed for wooden boats, but the goal justifies the means, new ones will grow in the place of the cut trees.

I have plenty of other ideas, but I will save them for the next time, when the above has already been realized.

By the way, the insolence of the capital's leadership is limitless. Now I'm not thinking about the applauded billions (inherited from the Tarlóses), not about the 40 juice coolers who grab the big money every month as consultants (in return they either don't give advice, or, even worse, they do), not even that those investments it was possible to carry out more expensive and poorer quality, which the previous city administration had already prepared, cheaper and with greater technical content.

For a week now, I've only been thinking about the Chain Bridge, all the time, stopping in traffic. And the fact that the bleeding municipality refuses to pay the solidarity tax. So they don't pay taxes, but they blatantly demand the 6 billion grant from the government, which was a condition for reopening the bridge to traffic. But for God's sake, where is the opening left? Because the participants of the "residential meeting" who most certainly do not drive a car voted for the closure in front of car traffic, right? The 6 billion will undoubtedly be worth it - and only if there are (may be) cars on the Chain Bridge. Until then, no petas. Of course, this is unpleasant from the point of view of further wasting money, but get used to it.

Karácsony promised to send payment notices to two ministries and Viktor Orbán. I also think that those motorists who are practically forbidden from using the Chain Bridge by the mayor and who because of this have to take long detours every day, needlessly consume several liters of gasoline, should send Gergely Karácsony a demand for payment for the damage caused. There would be roughly as much (or a little more) basis for this as for closing the bridge at Christmas.

And the mayor could learn that everything has to be paid for. If not now, then next year.
