Brussels would move the BMW factory to Romania instead of Debrecen, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (KKM) responsible for bilateral relations wrote on his social media page on Monday. Responding to press reports, Tamás Menczer announced that Brussels had launched another attack against Hungary and the Hungarian people. "This is because we say no to migration, war and sanctions," the secretary of state wrote. He put it like this, "we can remember: Katarina Barley, the vice-president of the extremely pro-war and pro-immigration European Parliament (EP), has already said that Hungary must be financially starved!"

According to the state secretary, the vice president of the EP has now launched another attack on Hungary, he wants foreign companies to make their investments not in Hungary, but elsewhere, for example in Romania.

In recent years, Hungary has continuously broken investment and export records. Investments are necessary because the economy of a country of ten million people can only remain on a growing path with the help of investments, he said, adding that these investors pay taxes here and create jobs here.

In times of war and sanctions, without investments, we cannot protect our common results, the family support system, jobs, the 13th monthly pension, utility reduction, and the tax exemption for young people - listed the state secretary.

We will reject another attack by Brussels, we will defend Hungary's sovereignty! – can be read in the post uploaded to Tamás Menczer's Facebook page.
