DK is still the strongest party in the opposition, if the election were held today, LMP and Jobbik would not even get into Parliament.

The popularity of Fidesz-KDNP decreased somewhat in July, while DK and Mi Hazánk were able to increase their support minimally, stated the party preference research of Republikon Institute

Fidesz-KDNP

In July, the support of Fidesz-KDNP continued to decrease, by 2 percentage points each among the entire population and among party voters. Their support currently stands at 31 and 44 percent, respectively. In the recent period, the government has taken a number of measures that may harm its popularity, including, among others, the adoption of the status law, the introduction of the price cap or the transformation of the family support system. All this is compounded by the unfavorable economic situation, in which the government's economic policy also plays a role. Regardless, outside of the campaign period, it is typical for the support of the ruling party to decrease and then increase closer to the elections. Despite the slight decline, Fidesz-KDNP still confidently leads the party competition.

DK

Support for DK has fallen slightly in recent months, but in July it increased by 1 percent among the entire population and by 2 percent among party voters. DK is still the strongest party in the opposition, currently 13 percent of the total population and 18 percent of party voters would vote for the party.

Momentum

Momentum's support has not changed in the past month, 6 percent of the entire population and 9 percent of party voters would still vote for the party.

Our country

The support of Mi Hazánk increased by 1-1 percentage point within the margin of error among the entire population and among party voters, currently 6 and 8 percent would vote for the party, respectively. The popularity of Mi Hazánk has fluctuated in the recent period, but overall its support has remained at a similar level, so far it cannot reach its level at the end of 2022 or regain its second place in the opposition order of strength from Momentum.

MKKP

The MKKP's support among the entire population decreased by 1 percent, but among the party's voters it remained unchanged, currently 4 and 6 percent would vote for the party, thereby maintaining its position in parliament.

MSZP

The support of the MSZP also did not change, the party could count on the support of 4 percent of the entire population and 5 percent of party voters in an election this Sunday.

LMP

LMP's support among the entire population is unchanged, but it has decreased by 1 percentage point among party voters, currently 3 and 4 percent would vote for the party.

better

Jobbik's support has not changed, its popularity is still 3 and 4 percent, respectively.

Dialogue

The total population and 2 percent of party voters would still vote for Párbeszéd.
