The military history museum will soon present a selection of its most special artefacts spanning centuries, ornate collection.

At the exhibition opening as part of the Royal Days of Székesfehérvár, a selection of the special, spectacular and valuable collection pieces of the Military History Institute and Museum will be presented, partly the museum's well-known and precious relics, and partly artefacts that have rarely or never been seen by visitors.

The exhibition will feature an ornate collection spanning centuries of stabbing and cutting weapons, material memorabilia of the newly established army in 1848-1849, the highest awards of the 20th century, eye-catching silver and porcelain ornaments, as well as ornate memorabilia of the Hungarian bodyguard.

In addition to the uniforms and equipment, the most important military symbol, the flag, also plays a leading role in the five-room exhibition, which is a precursor to the large-scale Székesfehérvár exhibition of the Military History Institute and Museum opening next March.

The temporary exhibition titled The Treasure Chest of Our Military Past - Selection from the Valuables of the Military History Museum awaits those interested in military history in the Székesfehérvár Székesfehérvár Szent István Király Museum's Order House building on Tuesday from 6 p.m.
