"Dominik Szoboszlai and Milos Kerkez started their football careers in England. By kneeling," Gábor Bencsik wrote in his Facebook post.
In his post, the access to which is limited, the journalist wrote the following about the two footballers:
"They can't help it, just like those who here in Hungary had to sing the Internationale for forty years, had to join the KISZ, and had to remain silent when the speaker said long live the Soviet-Hungarian friendship. The speaker knew that it was a lie, he even knew that the members of the audience knew it too, yet he said it, yet they remained silent. You had to live, and you could only live with some compromises. At least by remaining silent".
According to Gábor Bencsik, the British are already here.
"Those who push footballers to kneel know that footballers know that this is all a lie, that kneeling is not a brave stand, but rather a compromise - but you have to live. In fact, they themselves, the coaches and managers who force the players to kneel, they also know that this is a compromise on their part, the club owner also knows this, but the sponsors and the media, you have to live."
