The prime minister also highlighted in Tranzit that being Hungarian is a mission, probably one of the most beautiful missions in the world.

This year, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is also among the interlocutors at the public Summer Transit Festival in Tihany. The Prime Minister was asked by Dániel Bohár, and we report on the answers in detail!

A strong start: "It's just that it's been standing still since then, but we can't even see the end of it," Orbán said to Viktor Bohár's question. The reporter quoted a statement he made in 2012, when the Prime Minister - also in Tranzit - said that "two-thirds are standing like stakes". According to the prime minister, we are fighting against enormous external forces, and during such battles, people instinctively organize themselves, looking for the party that organizes itself based on the service of the nation and can protect everything that is really important to the people.

Using a sports analogy, the Prime Minister said that the difference between the government and the opposition is that the left is where the ball is at the moment, kicks there, tries there. The government plans and places itself where the ball will be and tries to plan ahead. He warned, however, that it is not only necessary to look at the state of the Hungarian left, but also at what financial groups and what forces are behind them. These groups have clear visions for the future of the world, including Europe and within Hungary.

On the other hand, the Hungarian right starts from the point of view of how politics should be organized in terms of the interests and future of the ten or so million Hungarian people. That is why we will never be their supporters, since we are against them - pointed out Viktor Orbán.

They are the Goliath, we are the David. We've hit them in the head four times in recent years and we want to keep this good habit," he said.

He added that there was a multiple media and financial advantage in favor of the left during last year's election campaign, which was further strengthened by the international media environment.

It's good to be Hungarian

Being Hungarian is a mission, probably one of the most beautiful missions in the world, stated Viktor Orbán during the conversation in Tihany, who warned that it is not a matter of course that this mission will survive. You have to consciously work for it, you have to maintain it, because there are just over ten million of us in a sea of eight billion. We have been cultivating the Carpathian Basin for 1,100 years, and this is a big task, he warned. The more people grow up in Hungary who think that being Hungarian is good, great and exceptional, then there will be many of us "and the stakes will not only stand for thirteen years, but also longer".

We have a difficult time with liberals and communists because at first glance they are two very different worlds, heaven and earth, said Orbán, but surprisingly, after the collapse of a communist system, most of the communists become liberals. To understand this, one must realize that the dividing line is drawn at the question of what is the essence of man, how can man be grasped and understood. What unites all leftists with liberals is the attitude that the bottom line is you. On the contrary

the conservative attitude realizes that there are some things that are more important to us than ourselves: family, country, God, and attachment.

And then the question arises, how do we want to serve things bigger than ourselves - based on the anthropological point of view, we are on this side, and they are on that side, Viktor Orbán explained. According to the Prime Minister, it is precisely because of the above that it is not out of the question to talk about a left-right division.

Conservative politics is still weak in the West, but strong at home

At the international level, the liberals are still ahead of us in the attractive, mediatized formulation of political topics and the creation of linguistic frameworks, he warned, adding that a stable conservative political majority is only in Hungary. The Goliaths can still win in the other places, he added.

He mentioned as an example: the German press writes the same thing about the war, only subtle differences can be seen. If a different opinion is expressed, it is immediately silenced, not even allowed to participate, and in America they openly persecute a former president who wants to be president again.

In order for today's stable conservative order of power to develop in Hungary, a huge amount of work had to be done, he emphasized, but he also added: after eight years of government, the left had completely disintegrated and was in a terrible state. We were lucky in this - Orbán admitted, according to whom we got back the opportunity that had been taken away from us for forty years.

Read, read, read!

The basis of the international discourse today, said Viktor Orbán, is that if you do not agree with what the liberals say, you are simply not a good person. When asked why it is a rebellion to be conservative today, the Prime Minister pointed out: the generation of '68 issued the slogan that we must march to the institutions, the significance of which the conservatives of the time did not see.

The right wing must read the literature of the other side in order to understand its logic, to know why it is doing what it is doing, he called the attention of his audience.

This is also important, for example, in order to see what kind of power politics are being used. The Hungarian right did not see this before, so "between 1998 and 2002 we were in the government, but not in power", said Viktor Orbán, who emphasized: the left wants everything from migration to gender that we don't want, so we have to rebel .

We are on the right track if the opponent writes all bad things about us - warned Orbán, adding that we should not be surprised if the mainstream European press writes all bad things about the Hungarian government. Of course, this is not good, he added, but it has to be tolerated. He pointed out that it would be a shame to impose some kind of compulsion on ourselves.

We say no to imperial logic

European unity is important, but it should be the unity of European nation-states and not an order based on imperial logic, Viktor Orbán commented on the European integration debates, according to whom the balance between the two sides was upset when the British left the European Union. Since then, the imperial logic has been in the majority, which must be defended against within the European institutions. We are now defending ourselves at the level of the nation-state, and the stakes of next year's election are that the battlefield will be the European institutional system from now on, that the battle will be transferred there.

If the imperial logic wins, the Hungarians can't do well with it, it can only be bad for us, he added.

Speaking about the war in Ukraine, the Prime Minister stated first of all: we are talking about a horror in which a lot of people die. The only country that said the day after the outbreak of the war that the war should be localized was Hungary, but on the other hand, the Anglo-Saxon world globalized it.

The West thought that if they gave money and information, and the Ukrainians gave their blood and lives, the combination would allow them to defeat the Russians, but now it has become clear that they cannot be defeated that way. The next step after this planning and political strategy error can only be if the West sends soldiers to replace the casualties in Ukraine. Today, the EU is considering whether to send another 50 billion euros to help Ukraine, while it needs every center to sort itself out.

The country is on track, we have a great future ahead of us

We can build a strong and well-prospering country if we get ten more years, but if we get it, it will happen, Viktor Orbán promised. He admitted that of course there were mistakes, but we managed to set the country in the right direction, and one of the reasons why we became stronger is that instead of 3.6 million people are working today, there are 4.8 million people. He emphasized:

all struggles take place on the basis of the plan for the construction of the country, they are not scattered, sporadic struggles.

At the end of the conversation, the Prime Minister explained: politics requires a good nervous system and a special mental makeup, because there is no absolute certainty, the politician works with probabilities. That is why it is so important to persevere and to be able to assess how long it makes sense to persevere and when it is necessary to redesign. It is also important for a politician to see through the competition of nations and to know his nation.

The culture, identity, quick wit, creativity and intelligence of the Hungarians are all qualities that can be turned into victory. If all of this is combined with a conservative policy as described above, then "we will be great, we will be strong and we will be respectable!" Viktor Orbán said.
