I traveled to Lake Balaton from Budapest, and since I wasn't driving, I had the opportunity to look at the scenery. And I thought how fine this country is.
The gates are well-kept, the windows are decorated with flowers (mostly with my favorite, the red geranium), many roofs already have solar panels, even the poorer-looking houses (with a few exceptions) have been painted, flowers have been put in the windows, and plants have been planted in the small garden.
In several settlements, they even thought of hanging flower baskets on electricity poles.
The fields, the areas under cultivation, and the sunflower fields also show signs of care and planning. That the people living here feel and love their property, their home, the settlement where they live, the land from which they live.
It's good to be home again!
