Many people liked János Bródy in the cursed group because his songs represented a kind of subtle, chiseled anti-establishment. Then the truth came out...

The same can be said about Zsuzsa Koncz, or the nation's number one comedian, Géza Hofi. After the regime change, however, the "democratic" glaze slowly peeled off the bricks.

Documents of the period have come to light that slightly - or not so slightly - colored the image of the mentioned artists.

It turned out that they were enthusiastic servants of the system and at the same time its beneficiaries, who, if they played their part, could strut around like little kings in the system that they criticized as "karakan".

It turned out that they were indeed just accessories of the Kadár goulash communist system, the key components of the totalitarian machine, the valves.

And they stayed. Although Hofi is no longer with us, the public activities of the other two are proof of this.

Bródy recently found himself saying, for example, that if the state radio does not play his composition, it is tantamount to a dictatorship.

The video below reveals what the real dictatorship was like, and how our János believed in it. Worth checking out!
