The world's largest species of deer roams Hungary, and a recording was also made of it: the moose seen on it looks like a bull, may be a young individual and can weigh nearly three pounds.

In the latest recording, it can be clearly seen that the special deer was heading from Kisvárda towards Záhony in the early morning hours.

The video was taken by a man four days ago at dawn, at the roundabout between Záhony and Zsurk. The man works as a patient transporter and was carrying children when they saw the animal, which they first thought was a horse.

They pulled over and drove slowly, a car overtook both the ambulance and the moose. They were probably not aware of the dangers this animal could pose to road users.

The moose stayed in front of them for a while, then switched to a sunflower stubble and slowly disappeared.

The last time an elk strayed into Hungary was in 1989, which was killed by hunters at the time. According to the current laws, it is forbidden to shoot this type of even-toed hooves in Hungary.

Annually, moose cause serious traffic accidents in Scandinavia. In Norway, those who can afford it buy SUVs with high ground clearance, because if a collision occurs, the animal will hit the hood, not the passenger compartment, according to the Cen Web page.
