Ukraine's accession to the European Union is also among the issues of the national consultation, according to the video published on Facebook by the Secretary of State for Bilateral Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on Saturday.

Tamás Menczer said in his video: There is currently a war in Ukraine, so

if the country were admitted to the European Union, then the war would be brought into the community, and a significant part of the EU resources would also go to Ukraine.

He also reminded that the national communities in Ukraine took away the already existing, so-called acquired rights of the Hungarian national community, and these rights have not been returned to this day.

"Do you think Ukraine has a place in the European Union? Have your say!”

said the state secretary.
