The former American president also spoke about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, revealing who is really behind it all.

“It should probably be allowed to play out because a lot of people die. It should never have started. There was no way it could have started again. Iran had no money [during my presidency], but now Iran is behind [instigating the war]. And only fools would say that's not true. They control this.

They are very tricky, very smart, very cunning. They are behind it and it has to stop”

Trump said.

Trump also claimed that there is mutual animosity between the two sides, preventing an easy or peaceful resolution to the conflict.

“There is no hatred like the hatred of the Palestinians for Israel and the Jewish people. And it's probably the other way around, too; I do not know"

Trump said.

So sometimes you have to let things play out and see what happens."

Trump has said his policies on Iran would have prevented war if he were still president, and has promised to deport Hamas supporters from America if he returns to power. He noted that Hezbollah had behaved "very smartly" so far, while also criticizing Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israel's PR efforts.
