At least according to the Ballibs. A study was prepared on the takeover of the LGBTQ lobby in Europe.
MCC Brussels produced a study "How LGBTQ took over Europe - How the EU used LGBTQ advocacy to demonize the East?" with title. Let's look at the report's three most important statements:
1) The spread of LGBTQ rights is rooted in the problem of finding an identity for Europe
Based on the study, Magyar Nemzet summarizes the first point as follows The Treaty of Lisbon gave the Charter of Fundamental Rights the same status as the original founding treaties. This created a legal obligation for the EU to maintain and enforce the values that it increasingly demanded from candidate countries within the current member states. According to the study, it increased that
fundamental rights – increasingly defined as LGBTQ rights – have become a key factor
in shaping EU relations.
2) The maniacal focus of LGBTQ NGOs on Central Europe represents a sense of Western superiority
The Western world is incapable of self-determination, they write, i.e. it always does so against others and had no positive goals. After the fall of the Iron Curtain, the established "we are not them" narrative, i.e. the opposition between the good world in the West and communism in the East, had to be redefined.
The result of this rethinking was an imperialist approach that sees the Central and Eastern European region as unable to reform itself.
and needs external intervention.
3) The antipathy of the Western elites towards national sovereignty is also exemplified by LGBTQ pressure
Hiding behind gay rights is one
they are trying to build a cross-national identity-forming community.
The members of this community transcend the boundaries of nation-states, they create a sense of community beyond that, of course a person can only be a part of it if they agree with the rules in everything and do not question them in any way - sums up the Magyar Nemzet.
During a discussion organized in connection with the volume, it emerged that you
the transgender issue gradually grew, because at first it meant women's equality. This gradually morphed into gay and lesbian rights, then swelled (and swelled)
for LGBTQ+ rights, which are supplemented by more and more letters.
Heterosexuality becomes morally worthless, the parent becomes an obstacle!
Much more lurks behind women's equality, an ideological environment where heterosexuality becomes morally worthless, it was said at the conversation. "Distrust has arisen from those who bow to the LGBTQ lobby that
parents will pass on their "negative fixations" (i.e. traditional values) to their children, and in this sense, the parent-child relationship has become an obstacle to development.
To overcome this, external intervention is needed, which in the Western world happens even without the parent's knowledge."
Sociology professor Frank Füredi, head of MCC Brussels, emphasized: identity politics is a never-ending field.
"If your identity is based on victimhood, you must constantly find new fights, even if you have to distort reality to do so"
- He told. According to Füredi's example, this leads to statements such as "the state of homophobia or racism has never been this bad", which are obviously not true.
