Szilárd Tóth, the head chef of the SALT restaurant in Budapest, was included in The Best Chef 100 list, which has been in existence since 2017, making him the third Hungarian chef to do so.

You can be added to the list by nomination, which is edited by photographers, gastro writers, critics and foodies.
Three Hungarian chefs have now made it this far: in addition to Szilárd Tóth, Ákos Sárközi, head chef of the Borkonyha and Textúra restaurants in the capital, and Ádám Mészáros, who was responsible for the kitchen performance at the Onyx restaurant at the time of his nomination.
The SALT Budapest restaurant, which also employs Szilárd Tóth, received its first Michelin star in 2021, and the green star in 2022, which is intended to reward sustainable hospitality.
According to the concept, Hungarian ingredients, flavors and memories appear on the plates in the most innovative form.
