The Batthyány Circle of Professors and the Batthyány Circle of Youth signed a cooperation agreement on Monday in Budapest with the aim that the two organizations with national-conservative values mutually support each other's activities.

It was said at the event that

within the framework of the cooperation, the organizations plan to organize joint lectures and involve each other in the activities of their intellectual workshops. According to their plans, these events are mainly used to present, discuss and disseminate their cultural, scientific and educational policy ideas.

The agreement was signed by Lajos Kollár, president of the Batthyány Circle of Professors, and Boldizsár Batthyány, chairman of the board of trustees of the Batthyány Circle of Youth.

Lajos Kollár pointed out that the joint work with the Batthyány Circle of Youth began in October in Sátoraljaújhely at the Rákóczi Tábor, at a scientific and topical political conference organized by the Batthyány Circle of Professors, the main topics of which were energy, higher education, national politics, family and population.

In connection with the strategic agreement, the president emphasized that the broadening of relations is of "primary importance". Lajos Kollár added that

in the spirit of this, an agreement was reached with the Lajos Batthyány Foundation, the Civil Solidarity Forum, the Hungarian Research Institute and the Rákóczi Association.

Boldizsár Batthyány said that they created their organization at the end of 2021 to

create a community based on values, crossing affiliations, political and economic opinions, which collides "internal and external" opinions.

He added: they considered the Batthyány Circle of Professors as a partner even when they were founded, both in terms of the values they represent and their activities.

He noted that they have already undertaken tasks in the higher education and energy work group of the Batthyány Circle of Professors.

Boldizsár Batthyány stated that they will consider the Batthyány Circle of Professors and its leaders as their spiritual mentors. He expressed his hope that cooperation with their organization will give the Batthyány Circle of Professors a new perspective.
