Ferenc Gelencsér has resigned from the position of president of Momentum, and Anna Donáth will take his place. This step was expected and calculated. However, we have to be on the lookout, because Donáth is preparing for a huge scam.
Ferenc Gyurcsány and DK have been doing it more and more often in recent months, of course only at the level of big words.
In practice, the situation is quite different. Momentum immediately sided with Gergely Karácsony, also supported by DK.
It is clearer than day that Ferenc Gyurcsány is the boss on the left.
A dirty game has begun. They have already tried to defeat the governing parties in all formations, but they have not succeeded either individually, partially or as a whole.
That's why they reverted to old tactics.
We still remember well that before the 1994 election, the liberal SZDSZ refrained from any kind of cooperation with the MSZP. Then, after the election, Gyula Horn and Iván Pető hit each other's palms.
The liberal camp was sharply divided by the alliance with the socialists, as the party had previously declared itself anti-communist.
In the end, they explained the conclusion of the coalition by saying that the SZDSZ cannot avoid "assuming governmental responsibility".
However, this was an altar lie, because the MSZP would not have needed the liberal party to form a government, i.e. it voluntarily, singly and premeditatedly aligned itself with the Socialists.
In practice, the SZDSZ spit in the face of its own voters with this step, and from then on they started down the slope, the end of which became the garbage dump of history. Now they are preparing for the same thing, Momentum has replaced the former SZDSZ. Thank God the political situation has changed since then, different winds are blowing.
So, no one should fall for this well-known Donáth trick from 1994.
As they often say: this is greased again.
