The German Rheinische Post and T-Online wrote on Friday, January 12, that a group of students in Germany tried to introduce sharia law in some schools.

As we know, Sharia law was developed by Islamic jurists in the 8th and 9th centuries. The most important sources of this law are the Qur'an and the Sunnah. According to its self-definition, it covers all areas of life and theoretically applies to non-Muslims as well, and remains valid until the end of the world.

So, a group of students wanted to introduce this law, now for the second time, in a school in Germany.

In the case, the daily Rheinische Post reported in a report on Thursday, the North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) state police began (and is currently continuing) an investigation against some students of a primary school in Neuss, who began to act as a kind of "Sharia police". in school. According to the newspaper, this group exerted massive pressure not only on their Muslim classmates, but also on the school management. Because

“they demanded that all women in the school cover themselves and introduced strict gender segregation, including in class discussions among students. They also told their teachers that they reject democracy.”

After that, the school's management called the police in December, and then the state security launched an investigation against the students and their parents.

However, the prosecutor's office dealing with the case was unable to establish a crime. Thus, processing what happened and finding a solution falls on the school management (!). Therefore, the school - for lack of a better word - a series of so-called started a workshop to process what happened.

All this was understandably a deep shock to the so-called in Germany.
in the ranks of "biological Germans", a designation that must not be used in the territory of the Federal Republic of course. Despite this, these Germans express their displeasure one after another in their private conversations, which they do not voice on official portals and state offices, knowing that they would immediately be labeled as xenophobic and anti-migrant.

It seems that the politicians also approach the topic more diplomatically, as did Herbert Reul (CDU), the Minister of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia, who said in an interview:

"We cannot allow our young people to fall into the hands of extremist groups through propaganda. As a society, we need to bring young people with us more, have more dialogue and show them alternatives."

In the opinion of many, this is all a very nice and exemplary democratic position, however, it seems that young people are not receptive to such alternatives, because they are much more influenced by the religious and moral customs within the family, and this is exactly what they want to continue in school.

Without a doubt, we have to accept as fact what the vice-president of the NRW Verband Bildung und Erziehung (Education and Education Association) told the Rheinische Post newspaper, that while it is true that this was an isolated case, it is definitely a trend. Then even he added to all that

"young Muslims increasingly accept conservative interpretations of Islam and bring these views into schools."

That this is really becoming a trend is proven by the fact that a similar case already happened last summer, namely in a high school in Bonn. However, this school has been a part of a state integration program for years, the aim of which is to fight against Islamist tendencies, obviously not without reason.

However, the extent to which opinions are divided is evidenced by the statement of a teacher in Bonn, who assessed what happened at the school simply as a provocation by young people, which he also - almost immediately - downgraded to the level of the usual reaction of young people going through puberty.

Look, opinions differ. However, events are moving at breakneck speed, and in only one direction...
