The state does not give loans to those with children and pensioners, there is nothing to pay back in the future, economist Imre Boros told Magyar Nemzet.

In the article published in Saturday's newspaper , the expert said that the Orbán government covers the benefits from what the economy has produced. He asked the question: when would the state provide such opportunities, if not now?

In the article, they reminded us that the government is transferring hundreds of billions in the form of tax refunds to families with children in the next few days, but the six-month gun money is also coming, and the pensioners received the full amount of the thirteenth month's pension in addition to their current allowance.

According to the Magyar Nemzet, there is coverage for additional benefits. They said that

the measures "embarrassed the left-liberal side", which tries to frame the measures as bad: they say that the government is wasting money, and the country's budget is in a difficult situation.

However, there is no mention of this, according to the paper. Imre Boros stated that the cabinet pays from what the workers have produced, not from loans. This is possible because economic growth exceeded all expectations last year, he said.

The economic downturn in 2020 due to the coronavirus epidemic caused difficulties for many. This can be remedied now - the economist opined.

Imre Boros also spoke about the fact that in recent years the growth of the gross domestic product has been at the forefront of the European Union, which is why the government was able to pay pension premiums to the elderly.
