Tucker Carlson's ground-breaking conversation with the Russian president points out that the mainstream media has long since forgotten what its real job is: reporting instead of telling stories.

From there, it would be only one step for the political elite of the West to face their mistakes and use diplomacy again for what it is meant for: communication, negotiation, and avoiding wars. They know: it shoots first, and then doesn't ask about avoiding mentality.

In about 11 hours, the number of views of the video exceeded 100 million on X and 3.8 million on YouTube. And that's not all. The Kremlin also made an announcement regarding the interview.

They said:

In recent days, the Kremlin has received dozens of requests from the world's major media outlets that want to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin.

- presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov informed the journalists on Friday.

According to Peskov, after it became public: American television personality Tucker Carlson was given the opportunity to interview the president, a similar request came to Moscow from the media of the United States, France, Italy, Austria and Australia, among others. The spokesman thanked the foreign press for their interest in the Russian president, adding that

for "obvious reasons" there will be no more interviews now, but the Kremlin - with a view to the future - will consider all requests.

He said that there was no response to the conversation between Putin and Carlson through diplomatic channels, adding that such a thing was not expected. He said the Kremlin does not see "hysteria and panic" in the United States after the Putin interview. He voiced his opinion that over time the presidential interview will be studied very carefully.

"We would like as many readers and viewers as possible to get to know the interview of our head of state"

Peskov said.

He also said that the American journalist did not coordinate his questions with the Kremlin in advance, adding that such a thing is not a practice in the presidential apparatus. Carlson published his two-hour interview with the Russian leader on his website and several online platforms on Thursday evening, American time.
