The nonius stallion, which Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received as a gift from Viktor Orbán during the Turkish president's visit to Budapest, has arrived in Turkey.

The Mezőhegyes stallion was presented to the Turkish head of state by the Hungarian prime minister last December, and a recent Facebook post reveals that the horse has finally arrived at its new stable.

"The stable change of the Mezőhegyes "superman" has taken place. Főúr is already conquering among the Turkish mares," writes János Lázár in his post, which includes some pictures of the great adventure of the Mezőhegyes horse.

As a reminder, the Turkish head of state last visited Hungary last year, at the end of the year, at the most recent meeting of the Hungarian-Turkish High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

It was an occasion for the guest and his host to give each other gifts: Erdoğan gave his Turkish partner a Togg brand car, while the Hungarian Prime Minister gave a horse from the Mezőhegyes stud farm.

“It was a good deal. 435 in exchange for 1 horsepower. Welcome President Erdoğan to Hungary!" Viktor Orbán commented on the horsepower change on social media.
