According to Krisztina Baranyi from Ferencváros, the party did not even know how to count the votes.

The two co-chairmen, Gergely Kovács and Zsuzsanna Döme, resigned from the leadership of the Hungarian Two-Tailed Dog Party (MKKP). Kovács announced on Sunday afternoon that he would not run in the local government election because his party did not support the primary election.

There was tension within the party after Kovács started the XII. district in the primary election because he wanted to be mayor, but his party did not support him.

"There would have been a very good opportunity for me to become mayor and for half of the representatives in the council to be pro-dogs, this would have been partly decided in the primary election, which I think would have been easy to win. Unfortunately, the majority of the dog party did not support this," the XII of the party published. on the community page of your district organization. They also announced that they will not run in the local government election in the district.

The left-liberal mayor of Ferencváros does not agree with the party's decision.

Krisztina Baranyi of the MKKP also expressed her displeasure in her post on Facebook, who said in her comment: Kovács has a realistic chance to become mayor in a "fortified citadel" after five years of work.

According to him, the behavior and offer of the other opposition actors in the district also show that they support him in this.

"I can't imagine that a party misses the opportunity for its president and representatives to get real positions and a real opportunity to act. This is stupid, I can't believe it. You must have miscalculated something during the voting," added Baranyi.
