According to the signs, the separate journeys and joking are over: the Dog Party must also fall in line.

A completely unexpected and significant change took place at the Hungarian Two-Tailed Dog Party over the weekend: after, according to co-chairman Gergő Kovács, the party decided to withdraw from the XII. from running in the district municipality, together with Zsuzsanna Döme resigned from the post of co-president.

The Dog Party was founded in 2006, registered as a party in 2014, since then Gergely Kovács has been the president of the formation, which operates specifically as a joke party. In the recent period, the party moved ahead in public opinion polls, hardly regardless of social dissatisfaction with the opposition. At the same time, they started to get serious: while previously they gave almost only joking interviews, Gergő Kovács and his colleagues struck an increasingly "normal" tone.

The Dog Party beheaded itself

At the same time, they continued to keep their distance from the traditional opposition parties, the outgoing co-chairman, for example, also sided with Gergely Karácsony.

Then it turned out that a list for the EP elections is being prepared, at the head of which are far from "funny" aspirants connected to the Soros world, and at the same time, the pressure on them to cooperate with the left-liberal formations increased. Hegyvidék was a prominent area for proving independence, where Kovács has been very active in recent years, and was able to make a good attempt to run for mayor.

However, the other opposition parties did not stand behind him, although MKKP also pulled out from behind Péter Juhász in Belváros as soon as Momentum's support arrived.

According to the signs, the separate journeys and joking are over: the Dog Party must also fall in line.

A detailed analysis of how this happened was published the other day, and according to the signs, the processes will start to develop accordingly even sooner than we thought.

Using the developments in Poland as a quasi-example, it can be stated: although Ferenc Gyurcsány is the most rejected politician, his party is considered the leading force of the side opposing the government, and the majority of the parliamentary opposition parties depend on him. DK's moon court extends beyond the boundaries of the organization, it can be traced back to the MSZP-SZDSZ coalition cooperation, and this is indicated by the momentary, dialogical connections and relationship systems.

MKKP offers an alternative for those who do not request this.

This is supported by the research of the Nézőpont Institute: 90 percent of left-wing voters and supporters of the MKKP are dissatisfied with Viktor Orbán, but 72 percent of the party's supporters say no to Gyurcsány, while supporters of the other left-wing forces only say no to 49 percent.

The main test at home may be the upcoming municipal elections.

Despite the fact that most research measures the MKKP at between 5 and 10 percent, they do not run mayoral candidates everywhere, especially not in swing districts. They do not put forward a candidate for mayor in Budapest either, and as it turned out, the XII. not even in the district.

This latest step also seems to confirm Mandiner's previous reports:

  • the current reticence may lie in the background of the Soros connection,
  • it is understood that, instead of the so-called "membership", the MKKP is not allowed to start in the vacillating districts or in places where they see any chance of a left-wing translation, in fact, at the suggestion of the background people connected to the philanthropic billionaire. Not so in Hegyvidék.

The departure of the couple that represents the party on most platforms is indicated: not everyone is happy that the dogs lose their "innocence" and join the tactician opposition world.

In addition, it seems that the external influence on them is also getting stronger.

Another addition is that the MKKP, which carries the image of a non-political party, could more easily channel the camp of those dissatisfied with both the traditional opposition and the government, collected by the influencer activated following the pardon case, such as Momentum, which has already played a role in this genre.

In other words, this mood could be converted into votes.

It should also not be forgotten that among the influencers organizing the Hősök tér demonstration there are several people who in one way or another participated in the 2022 opposition campaign, for example Ádám Nagy hosting Péter Márki-Zay or Klára Dobrev and Ferenc Gyurcsány speaker Zsolt Osváth.
