War is dangerous, not peace.

On behalf of the Hungarian government, Péter Szijjártó responded on his official Facebook page to the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, according to which the Hungarian Prime Minister is playing a dangerous game, which is primarily dangerous for Hungary.

The thing is, what is dangerous is war, because people die in war.

(…) And the war entails the danger of spreading further, and we do not want this war to spread further, because we live here in the neighborhood of the war. That is why we are doing everything we can to ensure that there is peace in the neighborhood, that human lives can be saved and that further destruction can be prevented."

- says the foreign minister in his video, which can be viewed below:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with the Le Monde :

Hungary knows the consequences of "occupying a fascist regime", yet its messages are radical

To Ukraine. According to the president, 90 percent of European leaders are on Ukraine's side, although opinions differ within societies.

Zelenskyi emphasized that the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, "is playing a very dangerous game, which is primarily dangerous for Hungary itself. This country knows what an invasion is, it knows the consequences of a fascist regime, and I am surprised that Budapest's messages towards Ukraine are radical.

Playing games won't work with Trump because he's an independent leader and nobody likes to have weak friends."

he added, somewhat vaguely.

According to the Ukrainian president, at the beginning of the war, everyone tried to shake hands with Putin to show that the Russian president could be reconciled. Zelensky believes this leniency went wrong, and instead the world should have fixed Putin.

Then everything got even worse, according to Zelensky: Europe and the United States should have taken a leading role and introduced tough sanctions, but in the end

due to the slowdown in arms deliveries, "there is already a danger of the third mistake, of trying to divert the world's attention from Ukraine",

the president of Ukraine believes.
