The survey of the Republikon Institute also holds surprises regarding the order of support of the parties.

In its latest research, mapped the support of the parties and the mayoral candidates who have registered so far . The data show that

in the capital, Fidesz-KDNP is the strongest party: with 26 percent support among the entire population, and 30 percent support among sure-voting party voters.

The governing parties are followed by the Democratic Coalition (15 and 17 percent respectively) and, somewhat surprisingly, the Two-Tailed Dog Party with 12 and 13 percent respectively.

Momentum comes after them (10 and 12 percent respectively), but apart from them, only Párbeszéd still reaches the entry threshold, with 6 and 7 percent support. The support of MSZP and LMP is 3-3 and 4-4 percent respectively.

According to the results, Fidesz-KDNP would win twelve seats in the Capital Assembly, DK seven, MKKP five, Momentum four, Párbeszéd and Mi hazánk two each.

Based on the research, Gergely Karácsony is confidently leading the race for mayor, but as the Republikon points out, they were not able to specifically ask about the government candidate (who has since been named) in the survey, so they could only probe in general whether the government's candidacy was supported. Dávid Vitézy is not yet an official candidate.

At the same time, 55 would vote for Gergely Karácsony, 22 for Dávid Vitézy, 17 for the government party candidate, 4 for András Grundtner (Mi Hazánk), while two percent would vote for Brenner Koloman (Jobbik).
