The members of the Catholic church in Nagykovács commemorated Christ's sufferings and death on the cross based on the work of Jenő Sillye.
Jesus Christ left us a memory of the events that happened at the Stations of the Cross, from Pilate's judgment seat near Calvary to his tomb, which turned out to be empty on Easter Day. His people have been learning to live by the message of the Way of the Cross for two thousand years. We go through his stages so that we can live and die in the world in which he became our Brother, our Ideal and our Saviour.
Let the cross-bearing Christ's way to God's will teach us to live a faithful and saved life under all circumstances. Amen.
