In the West, they are already counting on Emmanuel Macron's war rhetoric and decisions to trigger the Third World War.

The Neue Zürcher Zeitung outlined different scenarios for the possibility that the Russian-Ukrainian war would spread to other European countries after French President Emmanuel Macron sends troops to Ukraine. The first possibility is the deployment of a contingent in the northern part of Kyiv, in which case the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces would relocate to the eastern and southern fronts, the V4na.com news agency observed.

The second possibility is that the French troops act as reserves in the direction of Zaporizhzhya and try to prevent the Russian forces from breaking through. France would not be alone in a mission to Ukraine.

On the one hand, the units should be integrated into Ukrainian command structures in order to provide effective added value. Furthermore, France would not risk such an expedition without the support of important NATO partners. Here they would focus on Poland, Romania and, above all, the British, who are already present in Ukraine. Politically, this would probably mean a revival of the entente cordiale between London and Paris

- writes the Swiss newspaper, according to which President Macron knows that the open use of non-NATO military equipment entails risks. In addition to Moscow threatening to deploy nuclear weapons, test attacks against France with fighter jets or long-range weapons are conceivable. One of the most vulnerable axes runs towards the Alps, as the so-called Tyrolean Corridor is practically defenseless from the air.

The fourth option is to deploy troops to Moldova. The support of the Republic of Moldova against Russia's hybrid war would be the anteroom of a mission in Ukraine. The situation is currently escalating in the region of the Gagauz minority, which Moscow is using to undermine the authority of the Kishinev government. Even a smaller French mainland contingent could stabilize the situation - Neue Zürcher Zeitung explores the possibilities.

As is known, Emmanuel Macron has repeatedly stated in recent weeks that the deployment of Western soldiers to Ukraine should be considered. Since then, Europe has been almost divided on this issue, some of the leaders would support this proposal, while the others are strongly against it.

Those who oppose it fear that Vladimir Putin will follow through on his promise and start World War III. The Russian president has repeatedly warned the West that if he sends soldiers to Ukraine, it means the outbreak of a world war, in which even a nuclear war is not unthinkable.
