According to researchers studying the long-term development of thousands of children, the "non-affirming" attitude enforced by the LGBTQ lobby, which drives minors into hormone treatments and even surgeries, is outrageous.

Not for the first time - and presumably not for the last time - a central "thesis" of the international LGBTQ movement was overturned by a long-term scientific research. In it, Dutch scientists followed the development of about 2,700 children from the age of 11 to their mid-twenties. They were interviewed every three years, in which they assessed their feelings and attitudes about their own gender. Based on all this, it turned out:

gender identity disorder is not an unusual phenomenon at a certain age, but it goes away later.

At the beginning of the survey presented by Axioma.hu, 11 percent of 11-year-old children reported that they were dissatisfied with their own gender on some level. However, after 14 years, i.e. at the age of 25, this proportion dropped dramatically: at that time, only four (!) percent of them expressed some degree of dissatisfaction. It is also important to note that this four percent also includes those who only rarely felt some reservations about their own gender, but were completely satisfied with it for the vast majority of their days.

"The results of the current study may help adolescents realize that it is normal and relatively common to have doubts about their identity and sexual orientation at this age," the researchers concluded.

The attitude of the responsible professionals is therefore now confirmed by research, according to which

at this age, it is almost natural for children to feel insecure for a short period of time, as this is a phenomenon accompanying their development.

Based on this, it would be a fatal mistake to subject them to dangerous procedures, such as puberty blockers, hormone treatment, and possibly outright sex-changing surgery, in accordance with the demands of the trans movement.

"The fact that dissatisfaction rates are lower even after a few years suggests that for the vast majority of people, prudence and caution will be the best approach, rather than permanent surgery or hormone therapy," said Patrick Brown of Ethics and Public Policy Center contributor to the Daily Mail. In the statement quoted by Axioma.hu, the specialist added,

accordingly, policies prohibiting the gender transition of minors make a lot of sense.

Everyone who has ever been a teenager knows that puberty and its aftermath can be a confusing time of hormonal surges, physical changes, and social uncertainty. It is not surprising that the highest rate of body dissatisfaction peaks during this period, said Patrick Brown.

Jay Richards, the director of the Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Life, Religion and Family, did not answer the paper either:

"We've known for more than a decade that most kids who have anxiety resolve these feelings later, they just go away, and they're natural during puberty. This fact makes it clear why "non-affirmative" care of minors is so outrageous, eventually leading to sterilization and, in many cases, complete loss of natural sexual function. There is no evidence that this helps minors in the long term," the specialist told the Daily Mail, adding that children are being medicalized by referring to temporary psychological symptoms (medicalization is the current trend of wanting to treat more and more non-medical problems with medical treatment). to solve on the way - ed.).
