The host is called Ada Bíró, whose appearance, face and voice were created by AI from previously existing programs.

A host created with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) presented himself in the scientific and educational program of the Danube, Delta, it was announced in the evening news of M1.

In the new season of the television show, which started with a revolutionary innovation, the host is called Ada Bíró, whose appearance, face and voice were created by MI from previously existing programs.

What he has to say is determined entirely by Delta's editors, and together with this, the image and language model brought to life with the help of artificial intelligence became Ádám Fejős' permanent co-host in Delta.

According to film expert Viktor Dudás, Delta is exactly the program where such a unique technological innovation has a place and, where appropriate, an important role.

"There is an absolute place for such an appearance in such a program, since where we deal with science and the program tries to present absolute innovations, it is absolutely adequate that the highest level of technical innovations, even the speakers of the program, are part of the presentation," he said. Viktor Dudas. He added: this is a very interesting innovation, and he is very curious to see how the audience will react to it, "because we have never seen anything like this on the screen in Hungary".

The most modern language model was used so that the host created by AI could speak Hungarian beautifully, and the latest video model was used so that he could move. As it was said in the program, a sensitive balance of these technologies was needed in order for Ada Bíró to be able to tell the viewers the current scientific news from the wider world.

Media and digital pedagogy researcher Zoltán Szűts, dean of the Faculty of Education of Károly Eszterházy University, spoke on M1 about the fact that artificial intelligence is created by humans and controlled by humans. The AI expert emphasized:

every technology in history has been upheaval, just like artificial intelligence, but it should not be feared, but tested, understood and used in the long term.

"In the past decade, we have been talking a lot about digitalization and the ways in which the world of work is being transformed, and artificial intelligence is the trend that will definitely represent a leap. This does not mean that people will lose their jobs. In fact! This means that the work itself will be of a different nature. Of course, a change in technology always presents a challenge, in the case of artificial intelligence, we must acknowledge that this technology works as an assistant. It works as a helper," emphasized Zoltán Szűts.
