After a gap of several years, the Vojdaszentivány folk dance camp will be held again this year, August 12-17. between.
In the folk dance camp, those interested can learn one of the most popular pieces of the dance halls, the world-famous vojdascentivány, from local dance teachers, wrote the Fonó Budai Zeneház in a statement.
In addition to singing and dancing, the participants of the folk dance camp founded 23 years ago can also take part in craft classes led by local masters, and this year the organizers are also announcing horseback riding classes, they added.
According to the information, participants can learn the Vajdaszentivany dance at several levels, such as in beginner, intermediate and advanced groups. Folk music education is accompanied by live music: violin, viola, double bass, accordion and dulcimer accompany the dancers led by Elek Horváth, the master of folk art. The Marosvásárhely Pergő Band and the Muzsikosz band will also perform.
The venue of the folk dance camp will be the Zichy Castle.
