A true hell on earth: at least 174 civilians died and 690 were wounded, more than half of them attributed to the fighting in Kharkiv.

Magyar Nemzet writes that a high-ranking UN humanitarian official called the increase in the number of victims in Ukraine worrisome. emphasized:

 the number of victims in May is the highest in almost a year!

"Malls, homes, educational institutions, shops, office buildings, parks and public transport have been hit in recent weeks," said Joyce Msuya, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs.

As it turned out, at least 174 civilians died and 690 were wounded in May, more than half of them attributed to the fighting in Kharkiv. "The International Organization for Migration estimates that at least 18,100 people have been newly displaced in the Kharkiv area," Msuya noted.

Msuya said:

the civilians who remained in the front areas face terrible conditions.

Many are cut off from food, medical care, electricity and gas.
