The Kurultaj commemorates Hungarian ancestors and great figures of Hungarian history, and has now become a link that can unite all Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin. The cultural meeting of about 25 peoples related to the Hungarians from the east is also a large tribal meeting - through their kinship with the horse-nomadic peoples of the steppes.
